Local Mobile Guide
Cost effective mobile app for dissemination of cultural events, reporting and citizen services.
Digital platform for cities and municipalities
In close cooperation with the different project partners, Mobile Identity has developed a platform with an easy and intuitive navigation tool with an exciting design that presents the content in innovative ways.
Mobile Identity’ design and functionality is based on the partners’ specific needs and overall digital strategy. The project partners will receive their very own app solution for immediate implementation.
The App 'Roskilde-Live' is nominated for Danish App Awards 2014.
The app is adapted to meet the individual content that each municipality wishes to convey to their citizens, visitors or more specific audiences. It can be used for a variety of purposes and areas within the municipality - such as citizen services, nature and leisure and much more.
The Local Mobile Guide for a municipality will provide:
- A cost effective communication tool for the municipality
- An efficient and focused method to reach both citizens and visitors
- Promotion of themes, initiatives, institutions, various offers and more
- Engaging users who can contribute content to the app themselves
- Access to statistics of the app and its users
Following partners are involved in the project:

The Mobile Nature Guide
The Danish Society for Nature Conservation
A mobile platform with a map of more than 3,000 protected areas in Denmark, as well as news and ideas for seasonal nature activities.
The mobile digital services available for smartphones makes it possible to provide experiences with images and texts, depending on the location of the user. Mobile technology provides a range of possibilities to enhance experiences and events in parks and other places.
The Danish Society for Conservation of Nature administrates the website fredninger.dk, a database with information on Denmark’s preserved areas. The society wished to make these areas more accessible for the public and wanted an application that could involve the users in the protection of the Danish nature.
The Mobile Nature Guide is an application for mobile phones, which uses GPS technology and web-access to guide the user in wilderness areas. The Mobile Nature Guide provides an opportunity to experience more than 3,000 preserved areas in Denmark, as well as areas administrated by the Danish Nature Fund. Furthermore, the application gives access and suggestions to annual nature activities and gives the user the possibility to report problems concerning animals killed in traffic or scattered garbage directly to the Danish Society for Conservation of Nature by means of a camera function that registers the time, place and issue. In the future the Mobile Nature Guide will be refined and adjusted to new sights, purposes and events.
