(Kilde: www.mobilefitness.dk)

2/10/03 Creating Wireless Value
"It's time to stop waiting for a killer app and make the most
of what we have..."
Mobile Identity's Managing
Partner Andrew Martyn has had a new article published
in Wireless Business and Technology, "Creating
Wireless Value"
Extract:
"A few weeks back, SYS-CON's group publisher,
Jeremy Geelan, and I chatted about how mobile applications
had the potential to influence our lives, but also
about how many ideas never go anywhere. While others
may spend their time chasing killer apps, we decided
to create a forum to review applications that are
driving the frontiers of wireless Internet by creating
real value. We came up with the concept of Value Applications.
Value Applications, as we have defined them, are
uses of wireless Internet that create value for end
users (stimulating a market demand), are timely in
terms of market and technical readiness, create value
for operators (generally increasing ARPU), and sometimes
have the potential to define a new category of services.
This column will regularly review commercially available
and highly innovative applications from around the
world that meet our criteria."

we are engaged in, we want to ensure we are resourced
to exceed our clients’ expectations,“ reports
Partner, Jakob Teilmann. “ We are also exploring
development opportunities in new markets, as well as
partnerships with European firms that will require a

“Rather than technology preceding demand (as is
often the case), in mobile business, the technology
is trying hard to catch up with demand. Innovative companies
that have already developed mobile services based on
available technologies such as messaging (SMS, MMS)
are taking an early advantage in the huge mobile services
market. There are opportunities within all organizations
to create successes with m-business.”
